Product Description Reflecting Boston's long heritage of silversmithing, this pattern is similar to those sturdy and simple pewter utensils used by early American colonists. Typical of classic clean-lined design it would work just as well with modern surroundings.

Seemed like a good price until I checked Oneida, on sale for $49.99. How about a little better pricing Amazon. 12-7-2009
Oneida Colonial Boston September 28, 2009 Deborah S. Naylor (Dayton, OH) It was a perfect match to our existing silverware - it was exactly what I was looking for!
Wish I could give it 3-1/2 stars - okay but not what it was August 15, 2009 Sara B. Tarpley (TN) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is the third time I have purchased this pattern, the first two times having been a number of years ago. It is very similar to my sterling pattern, International's 1810; but as the price of silver increased over the years, I could not afford to add to my sterling. Boston Colonial was attractive and affordable for our growing family.
I went ahead and purchased it again in spite of negative comments here because I needed it for a visit from children and grandchildren. The set is basically attractive, and I have found that differences between the new set and my old set are not readily apparent in normal use. However, I agree with those who are disappointed in the downgrade of this pattern. Pieces feel lighter, particularly the knives, and the effort to make the knife handles look as hefty as their predecessors is unfortunate.
I have had the set only about a month so can't really assess its durability. However, so far I don't notice many scratches; and I am washing it in the dishwasher without seeing any corrosion.
wonderful flatware great price August 9, 2009 Susan J. Hedgpeth (Texas) This is actually another set of the same service I already had. A few pieces had "disappeared" when my husband took them to work, so I needed to replace them. I was thrilled to find them online and ordered them. They got here fast, in time for friends arriving for vacation. I have nothing bad to say about the flatware, it looks great and holds up nicely.
Oneida Colonial Boston 45 pieced silverware June 30, 2009 June D. Errico (Dennis, MA USA) I bought the same pattern over 10 years ago, this is an addition to it because of lost pieces. The quality is excellent and the product is very attractive and comfortable to use.
